Eros Kafe

Have a pleasure lunch in a sunny Sunday afternoon here. Comfortable inside and outside environment. Nice owner and waitress, great Greek coffee, nice lamb shoulder, but the sauce in a plastic spoon which I don’t like. Will come again to try the other Greek food .

My photos don’t do the food justice… all extremely tasty and very authentic. The friend I went with was Greek so followed all his recommendations and was glad I did so - every dish was fresh and delicious. The staff were also very friendly and knowledgeable (they helped me choose a wonderful dessert)

We had an extraordinary evening celebrating our 3rd anniversary at Eros Cafe, a Greek staple on Adelaide's renowned Rundle Street, with 30 years of history since 1995. The night commenced with a Pikes Riesling and a St George Red from Greece. Our palates were then treated to IMAM BAILDI GFOV, featuring grilled eggplant, caramelised onion, tomato salsa, and tzatziki, served with charred pide bread. This was followed by the main course of charred swordfish, accompanied by pilaf rice, salad, and oven-baked potatoes seasoned with sea salt and oregano. The desserts were sublime, consisting of an affogato infused with Mastiha liqueur and a hot custard cake paired with cinnamon cream, truly incredible. ????????

Last night was our first time dining at this restaurant. We didn't have a booking as we were looking for somewhere to eat and came across this restaurant along Rundle St. The restaurant was extremely busy but staff coped very well with the patrons. My partner and I are both gluten free and dairy free. Virtually the entire menu is gluten free and with a little tweaking dairy free too for several dishes. From the first contact with the gentleman outside the front door, until we left the service was impeccable. Staff were very friendly and professional. The food was excellent; fresh, tasty and good presentation. We had the swordfish and the lamb cutlets. There was a good selection of South Australian wines on the wine list. We will return to this restaurant.

Came after a business event for dinner with one other. We shared the dip sampler and they were all great - get the extra pita, they are perfect. I think had the lamb shoulder dish and the other fellow had the lamb chops. Mine was a bit dry, but very nicely flavored, his chops left me with envy. Had the Greek Fix beers with it, which are a bit creamy and delish. Great service, hit or miss on the food.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything was spot on! The calamari was cooked perfectly—tender and crispy. Lamb cutlets were packed with flavour and cooked just right. And the prawns? Absolutely hit the spot. Great food

Amazing food and great service, very friendly staff :-) and Joyce is super sweet After my first visit few nights back, I saw sad reviews in past on roasted lambs so reordered as consistency check lol and not been disappointed! It’s still juicy and crisp outside, good volume and with tasty potatoes. We also ordered few items, all good quality, will definitely return again:-)

Beautiful mother's day lunch and the service was on point from start to finish, very customer centric which was very impressive, the menu not a large selection but with greek food if you have the right mix it works very well. Eros has been around for many years and is an Adelaide institution for a reason the food always delivers
